Revenge of the Zombies

The Skeletal Spotlight shines this time on:
The poster art for "Revenge of the Zombies."

(Click on image to view full-size.)

Also known as "Black Magic 2" this 1976 kung-fu/horror exploitation movie has a little of everything in it, but equals a lot of nothing. Still, there are a whole lot more worse ways to spend an evening. Cool poster.

Hi I really like your blog and hope that this interests you and your readers.

I am attempting to amass a large collection of portraits of Frankenstein's Monster in as many different styles and in as many different media as possible as an ongoing art project. The only stipulation is that the size is 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches (standard artist trading card size) and that each card has name, date, title and anything else you care to add on the back.

I welcome cards from both amateur and professional artists.

I will be leaving blank cards with instructions and mailing address in galleries, colleges, art shops, on buses, handing them out in the street and wherever else I can think of.

If you are reading this and would like to get involved, please send a portrait to:

A Patchwork Of Flesh
45 Silversea Drive
Westcliff on Sea
United Kingdom

Each card I receive will be uploaded here to produce an on-line gallery, I then hope to put on an exhibition of these cards in a gallery.

Any chance you could add me as a link in you blog please?

Dear Sir/Madam,

we are a graphic design studio, we are working with a marketing and events organization company.

Nowadays, we work in a marketing hidden project in witch we need to expand through Internet news and short comments that talk about of the product we promote without talking about of it in a direct way.

Taking the characteristics of yours website, visits and target into account, we would like to receive a budget about how much money will cost that the writer would publish a short information supporting that campaign.

In other words paying to your company for publishing a piece of news in the blog. The text won't be alarming or controversial. Only supporting the advertising.

We would need to have answer as soon as possible, because we present the budget to our client the next Friday or Monday.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,

Alberto Aranda Toro.

I just found your blog, and I wanted to comment on how awesome I think it is. I've always had a strange fascination/obsession with the aesthetics of skulls and skeletons... if only I were Mexican so I could get all those Day of the Dead decorations! Not many people seem to understand the haunting beauty of such imagery, so I always love finding like-minded people who share my love for the dark and disturbing. Great site!
